"Monstress" is set in a matriarchal world inspired by early 20th-century Asia, and tells the story of Maika Half-wolf, a teenage survivor of a devastating war between humans and Arcanics.

Graphic novel was first published by Image Comics in 2018

In 2022, the publisher Loeb OÜ decided to buy the rights, to publish this award winning work in estonian.

I had the honor to be part of this project from the start. From setting the layout, helping with the designes and ending with prepress and seeing this through the binding process.

This was certainly a dream come true, as I've always wanted graphic novels to have a bigger audience in Estonia.
